An educational framework initiative
Quantum-Safe Futures
for Schools Framework
Preparing learners, educators and schools for a post-quantum world.
As quantum computing, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity evolve, schools must help learners develop the knowledge, capabilities and ethical understanding required to thrive in a quantum-safe future.
Mission
QSFS explores how primary schools, secondary schools, universities, industry and governments can prepare learners for a future shaped by quantum technologies, post-quantum cryptography, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and emerging digital systems.
This is not a framework for learning quantum physics. It is a framework for preparing learners, educators and institutions for quantum-safe futures.
The framework
Five interconnected domains
Hover or select a domain to explore how it shapes learning from primary school through to university and industry.
Domain 01
Quantum Literacy
What should every learner know about quantum technologies?
A developmental progression from pattern and probability thinking in primary years through to quantum algorithms and research pathways at university.

Coming soonFlagship programs
All four programs are in development — expressions of interest are open now.
Secondary students
Coming soonCracking the Future
A cryptography challenge unit that moves learners from breaking simple ciphers to briefing a mock board on post-quantum readiness.
Teachers and STEM coordinators
Coming soonQuantum-Safe Schools
Professional learning that builds educator confidence to teach quantum literacy and cybersecurity futures without a physics background.
Principals, school leaders, education executives, board members
Coming soonBoardroom Briefing: Quantum Futures
A strategic briefing translating quantum and cryptographic change into governance, risk and planning decisions leaders can act on.
Students and teachers
Coming soonCyber Futures Lab
Hands-on cybersecurity learning where learners defend, attack and reason about real systems in a safe environment.
